Knitted Wire Mesh on Rolls

RHODIUS is Europe's largest wire mesh knitter (approx. 1,500 tons per year)
and is equipped with state-of-the-art machines in order to supply knitted wire
mesh in large quantity and high quality at a reasonable price. We are also
flexible and able to respond quickly to the wishes of our customers. We de-
sign our own machines and manufacture them mainly in our company-ow-
ned mechanical engineering department. In addition to a large number of
standard knitting machines using the circular knitting technique, we have
special purpose knitting machines for wires up to 1 mm Ø and also flat
knitting machines.

products in the most diverse widths star-
ting from 5mm up to 1,300 mm (unfolded
up to 2,600 mm) and supply our custo-
mers with rolls or individual cut pieces.

The knitted wire mesh that we produce may contain up to 200 wires fila-
ments, or yarns. We manufacture in plane or corrugated styles and the va-
riety of material for knitting ranges from stainless steel, steel, copper, brass
to iconel™ and monel™, titanium, synthetic monofilaments, multifilaments,
aluminium, glass and carbon. The spectrum of wires to be knitted ranges
from a diameter of 0.03 to 1.0 and of wires to be processed up to 2 mm.

Series Production
In addition to individual customer-specific one-off productions of knitted wire
mesh, large series production is also standard for RHODIUS. In particular
as a series supplier for the automotive industry it goes without saying that
we can cover a series production of the size of several million items.
